Electrical Mechanical Technician
Job Title: Electrical Technician
Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to assemble control panels, electronic breadboards, and other electrical components according to company specifications. The role involves building custom PC boards, cables, harnesses, and electronic and electro-mechanical test equipment following engineering specifications. You will also be responsible for cutting and modifying jumpers on existing Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBA) and Flexible Circuit Assemblies (FCA), as well as replacing and removing electrical components on these assemblies.

ResponsibilitiesAssemble control panels and electronic breadboards to company specifications.Build custom PC boards, cables, harnesses, and test equipment.Cut and modify jumpers on PCBAs and FCAs.Replace and remove electrical components on PCBAs and FCAs.Troubleshoot electrical and system issues to isolate failures.Operate electrical test equipment such as oscilloscopes, digital volt meters, function generators, ESD guns, and power supplies.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, recommending and implementing enhancements to current methods and procedures.Essential SkillsMinimum of 2 years of experience as a technician.Minimum of 2 years of experience reading electrical schematics.Minimum of 2 years of experience building and troubleshooting cables and wiring harnesses.Ability to operate and understand electrical test equipment including oscilloscopes, volt meters, and function generators.Additional Skills & QualificationsElectrical Technician Associate's degree or two-year certificate in a related field preferred.Experience with assembly, control panels, and wire harnessing.Open to working in a team environment.Work Environment

This position is situated in a Research and Development (R&D) environment focused on building prototypes. You will work closely with engineers and other technicians, collaborating to develop innovative solutions.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
