**Overall Job Summary:**
Responsible for the assembly, testing & debug, customer interface and shipping preparation of packagingmachinery that ranges from above average to difficult in complexity. Other responsibilities include fosteringteamwork, on time deliveries, safety, quality, and cost improvements.
**Essential Functions:**
Assemble components of packaging machinery/automated systems in correct order/sequence
Complete machine testing to debug mechanical/electrical devices for proper operation
Occasional travel to customer locations to support machinery
**Qualifications:**
_Education/Experience_
2 year technical degree in Electrical/Mechanical Systems, Robotics preferred; minimum high school diploma orequivalent, plus experience
Minimum of 2 years experience in the packaging industry or other related field
_Desired Skills and Characteristics:_
Understanding of basic mechanical and pneumatic components
Basic machine shop skills
PLC programming skills (Allen-Bradley or Siemens preferred)
Experience with servo controls desired
Good communication skills, ability to work effectively with customers
Ability to work independently or as part of a group
Ability to travel (domestic and international)
Ability to work overtime
**Pay Range:** **$54,560.00** - **$68,200.00**
