As part of GXO, RepairTech is a repair and refurbishment company, who specialise in electrical goods. We have been providing this service for over 15 years to a number of major international brands such as Nintendo, Samsung, John Lewis, Argos and many more.

 

After continued success and business growth, we are now recruiting for an enthusiastic individual for the role of Electrical Operative, to work within a small but friendly team helping them to diagnose issues and fault find.

 

The role will be working Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 16:00, with an early finish on a Friday and will be based at our Southam site in Warwickshire.

We are offering a salary of £11.44Ph, with 31 days annual  leave, inclusive of bank holidays. You’ll have access to a variety of high street discounts, a workplace pension, and many other perks.
 

What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

Receipt of units and carry out initial inspection of goods, in order to diagnose any potential faults Use the repair process to log findings, write brief diagnoses reports, and carry out any repairs on units that fall within your remit Carry out quality control on all units and set up devices for testing (such as apps, wi-fi, Ian connections etc) Repair units in line with the daily & weekly KPI's

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

Knowledge of basic product functions & an interest within electrical repairs Soldering skills and the ability to diagnose faults to board level Ability to use DVM (Electrical Test Equipment) and also have strong IT skills Excellent attention to detail with a can do attitude and approach
