L3Harris Ottawa is seeking a Technician B to join our team. The Technician B will provide support to the production line with unit rework, troubleshooting and assembly.

What will you do:

Read and interpret documents such as work instructions, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructionsAssemble mechanical, optical or electrical components and subassemblies following specified work instructions and procedures to ensure finishedproduct meets established operational and cosmetic requirementsContinuously perform visual inspections of materials for defects and conducts any range of functional tests and cleaning at prescribed intervals to ensure proper operation of various components during assemblyReport deviations from standard to appropriate resource for review, instruction and authorization and conducts quality inspection at specified intervalsPerform accurate data and record keepingMaintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety proceduresCultivate a culture that assures effective cross functional team workPerform job duties in a manner that complies with environmental, health and safety regulations, policies and proceduresDemonstrate ethical and professional behavior in accordance with company values

Required Skills and Experiences:

College Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience.
