We are recruiting for an Electrical or Mechanical Engineer within our Product Support Group, located in Craigavon.

If the answer to any of these questions is “yes”, then the role of Product Service Engineer is for you. We are looking for a graduate Electrical or Mechanical Engineer to join our Team. You will work closely with our colleagues within the EMEA region to provide technical advice to our dealers.
You will provide support in various systems (mechanical and electrical powertrains, electronic systems, software and control systems, hydraulic systems, and telemetry), focussing on your area of expertise, but with the opportunity to learn about other systems. You will work closely with design engineering, software engineering and manufacturing in the resolution of technical issues and be involved in new product introduction projects, from design concept to testing and validation.
Additional responsibilities include involvement in product improvement activities (product redesign, manufacturing process improvements, supplier quality), technical root cause analysis and reviewing 3D models and engineering drawings. The role will also require occasional travel within EMEA to visit dealers.
Product training will be given on a regular basis to keep you up to date. Additional training will be available to support your own personal growth plan. The role is office based and hybrid working is available.
KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
Essential criteria:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related Engineering field. (We will consider applicants due to graduate in Summer 2025)Experience on Troubleshooting/Problem Solving and/or Product ImprovementAbility to interpret Engineering Drawings and Electrical/Hydraulic SchematicsDesirable criteria:
Experience of automotive systems such as CANbus, vehicle sensors, etc.Experience of interaction with customers from other countries and culturesHyster-Yale Materials Handling reserves the right to enhance the criteria in order to facilitate the shortlisting process.
