Position Title: Electrical Panel Builder
Location: Troy, MI
Shift: Monday - Friday / 7AM - 3:30PM
Position Overview:
An Electrical Panel Builder II is an intermediate level role responsible for proper layout, assembly, and wiring of control panels based on CAD drawings and bill of materials, including wiring of relays, PLCs, and VFDs.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Laying out, assembling, and wiring panels according to CAD drawings and bill of materials, including relays, controls, PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, and various instruments.
• Identifying and correcting installation issues using test equipment.
• Maintaining red line drawing mark-ups.
• Communicating with multiple departments on status of projects.
• Maintaining high quality standards and strong attention to detail.
Minimum Requirements:
• High School diploma/GED or equivalent
• At least 4 years of electrical experience including panel building and machine wiring
• At least 3 years of experience reading and interpreting engineering blueprints and schematics
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and maintain redline documentation.
• Adheres to all safety practices and company procedures
Preferred Requirements:
• Technical degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field is preferred
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.
The salary for this role is $24.26 - $26.00.In addition to your salary, H.B.
