CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking an Electrical Power Engineer V to join our Power & Manufacturing – Advanced Energy & Manufacturing Team at our Fort Washington, PA office.

The Electrical Power Engineer V, a key role at CHA, leads the technical execution of projects within his/her discipline and provides expert consultation in one or more areas of the respective field of engineering. At CHA, our Electrical Power Engineer V plans, schedules, conducts and coordinates detailed phases of a project independently with other engineering disciplines and project management staff. This key role provides guidance, mentorship, and technical review of work completed by junior level staff. The Electrical Power Engineer V provides technical development of proposals and external presentations (i.e., clients, public, regulatory agency, etc.)

 

The Electrical Power Engineer V resolves highly complex technical issues, and continuously monitors the progress and performance on a project to ensure efficient production and uncover potential problems. The professional in this role recognizes technical discrepancies in analytical results and makes appropriate corrections following standard procedures and recommends alterations to development and design to improve quality of design.

REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering requiredProfessional Engineer License (PE) requiredMinimum of 10 years progressive engineering experience is requiredExpert knowledge of the respective engineering discipline(s) with a proven ability to practically apply best practicesAdvanced proficiency with engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.)Understands QA/QC procedures and understands basic business practices and laws related to engineeringAbility to demonstrate leadership skills and effectively work in a collaborative environment; proven ability to lead a teamEffective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt communication style to suit various audiences Proficiency with MS Office software requiredActive role in a professional engineering society/organization preferred SALARY RANGE:

$104,000 - $126,000

 

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
