We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Product Manager within Westinghouse Parts Business (WPB). In this position, the individual will support the WPB Product Management group with a focus on electrical parts and product solutions. The individual will be responsible for a variety of product management and product marketing activities such as managing key teaming partner relationships, developing market assessments, product strategies, marketing materials, new product innovation, competitor analyses, etc. for the global nuclear market.
Your Day to Day:
Monitor global electrical parts and equipment market trends, customer buying patterns and competitor moves to develop product strategies, product marketing ideas and pricing strategies. With this knowledge work with Sales, Offer Development and Marketing to bring solutions to the market to help drive OE growth and product viability in support of WPB business metrics. Drive new product growth and product portfolio expansion through new product development (Innovation), Teaming Agreements and M&A activities. For new product development work with engineering on design, obsolescence management, and equipment qualification to bring new solutions to market. Incorporate Voice of the Customer and other business assessments to prioritize new product development. Attend Capture Strategy Meetings and Offer Development meetings as required for Key Opportunities and establish pricing in cooperation with Sales and Offer Development. Articulate Value Selling Proposition in support of the Offer Development and Sales organizations. Travel to customers, suppliers and/or industry conferences located worldwide (up to 25% travel) in support of business development, sales and key supplier relationship management. Other duties as assigned with the goal of implementing Westinghouse strategic initiatives.Who You Are:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university required. 5+ years of professional experience in electrical equipment product management, sales and engineering. 15+ years of experience strongly preferred.Skills and Competencies:
Strong written and verbal communication skills. Advanced knowledge of nuclear products market and product management concepts. Knowledge of nuclear product Equipment Qualification and Commercial Grade Dedication. Ability to effectively manage multiple domestic and international stakeholders with competing priorities. Experience reviewing, developing, and communicating technical specifications and requirement to other stakeholders within the organization.Why Westinghouse?
