Join ENERCON as an Electrical Project Engineer! Due to continued growth, our Energy Group is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer for our Kennesaw, GA (HQ), Tampa, FL, Birmingham, AL, FT/Dallas Worth, TX, Palm Beach Gardens, FL, Lake Mary, FL, or Chattanooga, TN location.

Responsibilities Responsible for project development and execution for a variety of engineering projects at power generation and heavy industrial facilitiesManage budget, scope, schedule, and quality associated with the designated projects with minimal guidance and technical oversightDirect and oversee routine and advanced technical work performed by others on assigned projects and maintain quality standards of all assigned projectsDesign and prepare engineering design packages for Power Generation and Industrial clientsApply basic technical principles, theories, standards, and concepts in order to put together engineering design packagesDevelop design drawings and technical specifications to support the preparation of project deliverables such as calculations, specifications, and engineering evaluationsReview and check designs, drawings, and data prepared by other engineers or subcontractorsApply industry codes, standards, and government regulationsAbility to learn discipline-specific computer analysis codesWork well with engineers of varied disciplinesInterface with other staff engineers as well as engineers working for our clientsTravel and participate in field installation, checkout, and start-up Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 3+ years of experienceIdeal candidate will have prior power system design experienceExcellent writing, presentation and communication skillsFamiliarity with preparing Electrical calculationsMake recommendations based on knowledge and experienceProficient in Microsoft SuiteAbility to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teamsMust be able to climb stairs and ladders at client sitesMust be able to travel to client sites to conduct walkdownsMust be able to work outside at client sites in all weather conditionsAbility to travel up to 20% of the time

Preferred Qualifications /skills

PE license highly preferred; EIT preferredPrior ETAP or SKM experience is a plusRenewables experience is a plus Additional Information
