We are assisting a leading delivery partner specialising in Data Centre Solutions with expertise spanning the entire lifecycle of data centre projects in their search for a highly skilled Electrical Project Manager. As Electrical Project Manager, you will oversee all aspects of electrical construction from initial planning and design to execution and completion, requiring excellent project management skills and extensive electrical knowledge.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
Develop detailed project plans for the installation of electrical systems in coordination with clients, contractors, engineers, and suppliers to ensure seamless delivery and installation of owner-furnished electrical equipment.
Oversee the procurement, delivery, and storage of electrical equipment, ensuring that all items meet project specifications and are delivered on schedule.
Perform regular site inspections to verify the correct installation of electrical systems ensuring all electrical work meets the highest quality standards and complies with relevant codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
Serve as the primary point of contact for all electrical activities, maintaining clear and effective communication with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
Prepare and submit detailed progress reports, highlighting key achievements, challenges, including any changes to scope, schedule, or budget.
Ensure that all electrical work is performed in compliance with health and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment on-site.
Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Proven years of experience in electrical project management with focus on data centre projects.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, equipment installation, and relevant industry standards.
Proven record of accomplishments in managing complex electrical projects from inception to completion, including budget and schedule management.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to resolving project challenges.
