Electrical Project Manager
We are seeking an Electrical Project Manager to oversee the design review process for a large program located at the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport offices. The position will be co-located with the client. The position will include a combination of on-site and virtual work attendance. This position will require Airport Security Credential Badging. To ensure success in this role, you will apply your knowledge of engineering fundamentals and safety regulations to ensure the quality compliance/conformance of multi-agency standards. Top candidates will be of unimpeachable integrity, detail-oriented, and assertive. The Electrical Project Manager will work with the direction of our Jacobs Program Manager, and Deputy Program Manager. A successful candidate will assume the following functional responsibilities: * Assist client Program staff to coordinate multidisciplinary project scoping, construction coordination, budget development, schedule creation, and project implementation. * Support and implement project management plans - e.g., communication, messaging, and document stakeholder engagement, quality, and safety. * Support Project Controls staff to update schedules, estimates, risk register, and asset in use dates. * Conduct constructability reviews of design documents. * Manage and coordinate project needs with numerous project stakeholders including but not limited to: Facilities and Infrastructure (F&I), Maintenance, Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Transportation Security Administration (TSA), Airlines, Security, Environmental, Customer Experience, Operational Readiness Activation and Transition (ORAT), Port Construction Services (PCS), Survey, Safety, Central Procurement Office (CPO), Operations, Airport Construction Management, Airline Affairs, Building and Fire departments. * Manage the client design review process. Schedule and attend review meetings, manage client design review sessions (hosted in Bluebeam), provide comments, and feedback on designs, and reconcile client stakeholder comments. * Support tracking and close out of the design review comments with the A/E team and reasonable support of the stakeholders * Implement Aviation Project Management Group (AVPMG) project delivery processes. * Attend weekly construction meetings during construction, review contractor provided meeting notes and provide feedback. * Support review and processing of Submittals, Request for Information (RFI) and Change documents. * Provide independent review of cost and constructability as requested by the Program Leader or Construction Manager. * Attend punch walks scheduled by the Construction Inspector and coordinate the timely resolution of any open items. * Ensure all required as-built, asset recording, Operations and Maintenance (O&M) * Ensure information and other required documentation have been received and approved by appropriate client stakeholders. * Complete all other project-related documents including regular project status reports and schedule updates as required. * Support activation activities as requested by the Program Leader. * Support close-out process. Your role keeps our company connected and we’ll support you with what you need to be successful.   * B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related experience in lieu of education * 15+ years of relevant electrical project management experience on large projects totaling $500M or more * Proficient in the use of computer application programs Word, Excel and latest design software * Experience in electrical design and the inspection of installed electrical systems and equipment Ideally you will have: * Knowledge special systems such as, CCTV systems, electrical systems, communication systems/SCADA, changeable message signs, signal systems, and fiber optic infrastructure. * Knowledge of construction practices, physical characteristics and properties of structures, utility systems, construction materials #WestPMCM Jacobs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
