Electrical QA Engineer

Electrical QA/QC Engineer – Sandviken, Sweden – Data Centres

 

Our client is a dedicated Data Centre Construction company providing turnkey solutions to our clients, headquartered in Dublin and delivering throughout Europe. As an engineering-focused organization, they have grown to become one of the leading and most trusted companies in our sector. We are currently constructing multiple Turnkey Data Centre Projects across Europe, equating to over 500 MW of IT load in flight.

We are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking an experienced Electrical QA/QC Engineer to join our team. This position will be based on-site in Gavle, Sweden.

 

Responsibilities

 

Quality Assurance and Control of Electrical Systems: Ensuring the proper installation and commissioning of electrical systems such as power distribution, lighting, emergency power, grounding, and fire alarm systems according to project specifications, standards, and codes.

Inspection and Testing: Conducting regular inspections and tests of electrical systems, including cables, panels, transformers, generators, and switchgear, to verify they meet quality standards, design specifications, and regulatory requirements.

Documentation and Reporting: Keeping detailed records of inspection reports, test results, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and corrective actions, and ensuring that all documentation is compliant with client and regulatory requirements.

Coordinating with Contractors and Subcontractors: Collaborating with electrical contractors, subcontractors, and other team members to ensure that electrical installations are performed to specification and identifying and resolving any quality issues that may arise during the construction process.

Reviewing Drawings and Specifications: Ensuring that electrical design drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications are properly reviewed, and verifying that installations comply with all relevant codes, standards, and the project’s requirements.

Continuous Improvement and Corrective Actions: Identifying potential risks or areas for improvement in electrical installations, recommending corrective and preventive actions, and supporting the implementation of solutions to maintain high-quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

 

Requirements

 

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent trades background in Electrical Engineering

Data Centre experience is preferred

Must have EU Passport or Right To Work in Sweden

 

Benefits

 

€80,000 - €85,000 per annum + Full Rotational Package
