We are assisting an established and rapidly growing construction and engineering services contractor in their search for an experienced Electrical QA/QC Lead for a Data Centre project. As Electrical QA/QC Lead you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Quality Assurance and Quality Control for electrical systems and installations involving developing and implementing QA/QC procedures, conducting inspections, and ensuring that all electrical work complies with industry standards, project specifications, and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
Develop and implement comprehensive QA/QC plans for electrical systems, including inspection and testing procedures.
Ensure that all electrical installations and activities comply with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Review and approve electrical drawings, specifications, and material submittals to ensure compliance.
Perform regular inspections and tests of electrical systems verifying that all installations meet the required quality standards.
Work closely with clients, contractors, and third-party inspectors regarding quality issues & provide regular updates on electrical QA/QC activities and ensure that all stakeholder requirements are met.
Conduct internal and external quality audits to assess compliance with QA/QC standards and identify areas for improvement ensuring that all audit findings are addressed promptly and effectively.
Ensure that all QA/QC activities are conducted in accordance with HSE regulations promoting safety awareness and ensure that all work is carried out safely and responsibly.
Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation, including quality manuals, inspection reports, and non-conformance reports.
Degree in Electrical Engineering/ Quality Management or related field.
Significant experience in Electrical QA/QC roles within construction preferably in Data Centre, Industrial, or Power projects.
In-depth knowledge of electrical systems and QA/QC processes.
Strong knowledge in electrical components and best practices are desirable.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other software and tools relevant to the role.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
