Summary: The Electrical Quality Technician plays a critical role in maintaining the high standards of our machines by identifying and addressing quality issues and collaborating with production and engineering teams to ensure products meet specifications.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS TO PERFORM DUTIES
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Responsible for performing final test and adjustments to ultrasonic cleaning systems verifying proper operation prior to shipment
• Collect data and verify products meet engineering design intent and customer expectations as well as established company quality standards.
• Troubleshooting and repair down to the electronic component level, including chip replacement on circuit boards.
• Verify all Ultrasonics fall within -20% to +10% power output requirements prior to passing checkout. (Power outputs not conforming within these parameters will require sign-off from the Project Manager before approval to ship)
• Thoroughly inspect products for any non-conformities such as dents, scratches and overall appearance prior to sign-off. Also ensure all products are dimensionally correct. The Electrical Quality Technician is the last line of quality control of outgoing products, so a thorough inspection is imperative to ensure we fully meet or exceed our customers’ expectations.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Qualifications: Ability to read and understand oscilloscopes and volt/multi-meters; mechanical understanding of PLC controlled automation, pneumatics, plumbing and electrical systems; must be able to read and work from electrical, plumbing and pneumatic schematics; and must be able to read and understand technical specifications.
Education and/or Experience: Associates degree in Electronics or 2-3 years of working experience. Must have working knowledge of computers, databases, common software programs, and be able to learn to use and adapt to new software programs.
Language Skills: Communicate verbally and/or in writing with other employees, other departments and supervision at all levels within the company as to work in progress, problems and/or completion. Must be able to speak with customers to help troubleshoot their equipment.
Mathematical Skills: Be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide basic numbers and basic algebra. Calculate percentages and perform advanced mathematical procedures. Prepare graphs and charts for presentations.
Reasoning Ability: Be able to identify work process problems and possible solutions.
Certificates/Licenses/Registrations: Driver’s license and passport eligibility.
Physical Demands: Sit at workstation for prolonged periods of time. Must be able to adjust visual focus. May be required to reach, stoop and/or bend on an as needed basis. Must be able to climb stairs as necessary. Must be able to lift 50 pounds consistently. Occasional travel may be necessary.
Work Environment: Most time on the job will be spent on or near the manufacturing floor. Regulated temperature and moderate noise level.
