We are seeking a dynamic, forward-thinking Electrical Senior Project Engineer to lead the development of innovative solutions for complex technical challenges in our First-Class Seating division. This role isn’t just about engineering; it’s about vision, leadership, and innovation. You will work at the intersection of advanced technical principles and multidisciplinary collaboration, guiding teams to push boundaries and deliver excellence.
What you will do:
Lead and execute complex, multi-disciplinary projects, developing detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely and successful project delivery.Act as the primary technical liaison for customers, effectively communicating project updates, technical insights, and strategic recommendations.Mentor and guide engineers, fostering an environment of continuous learning, growth, and collaboration.Conduct critical path analysis, develop work-around plans, and identify opportunities for cost optimization to achieve project goals.Drive product research, design, development, integration, and testing to meet program requirements and exceed customer expectations.Coordinate and lead design reviews with internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment throughout each project phase.Proactively identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track and within budget.Represent Collins Aerospace as a key technical expert in customer meetings and industry forums, influencing the future of aircraft seating technologies.What you will learn:

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree and 3 years of experience in a related field or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experienceMust be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
