Electrical Supervisor

How You Will Make an Impact: As an Electrical Supervisor, you will play a crucial part in all electrical aspects of building and maintaining our 42-mile Dune Express conveyor system. The Electrical Supervisor is responsible for adhering to all OSHA and MSHA standards while performing all job duties. Responsibilities: + Lead your team in safety complying with OSHA, MSHA, and Atlas policies and procedures. + Work with outside Engineering firms to design new electrical equipment. + Travel to various vendor locations and for audits and meetings. This will be more so during the design and construction phase. + Review, understand, redline, and update electrical schematics, drawings, one lines, e-houses layouts, etc.. + Lead a team of field electricians on day-to-day task such as inspections, PMs, trouble shooting, reporting, etc.. + Review and approve time sheets, vacation request, POs and invoices. + Attend training and certification courses required by the company. + Developing, maintaining, and reporting on budgets both for OPEX and CAPEX + Engaging with third party vendors for quotes and lead times + Comply with OSHA and MSHA standards and annual testing on electrical equipment. + In conjunction with senior supervision, may plan, staff, and organize field/shop positions. + Interacts with project management, engineering, estimating, and planning to ensure work complies with contract requirements, drawings, specifications, and schedule. + Responsible for resolving direct report’s issues (lack of productivity, safety, quality, work interfaces, rework etc.) as required. + Assist in obtaining personnel through Human Resources/Recruiting or network (as necessary). + Assess work completion. Create punch lists. + Advise senior level supervision of potential problems, work interference, schedule difficulties, etc. Assist in circumventing/resolving such problems as required.
