Our client, a top-tier engineering contractor specialising in delivering high-quality services for a variety of industries, is in need of an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join the team in delivering a successful Data Centre project. With strong leadership abilities, technical expertise in electrical systems, and the ability to coordinate and communicate effectively with various stakeholders on-site, you will be responsible for managing and supervising all on-site electrical activities, ensuring that the work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications and industry standards. This offer is available under the terms of a Netherlands/UK contract, EU/Netherlands resident permit holders are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
Oversee the day-to-day activities of electricians and subcontractors on-site, ensuring that all electrical work is performed safely, on time, and to the highest standards.
Oversee & verify the quality of electrical installations, ensuring compliance with project specifications, industry codes, and safety regulations.
Enforce strict adherence to health and safety protocols & perform briefings, ensuring the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the installation process, such as design discrepancies, material shortages, or unforeseen obstacles.
Prepare and submit weekly reports to the Site Managers & Project Managers, highlighting key achievements, issues, and next steps.
Ensure that all necessary tools, equipment, and materials are available on-site and in good working condition to avoid any disruptions to the workflow.
Act as the primary point of contact for all electrical-related matters on-site.
Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that expectations are met, and any issues are promptly addressed.
Degree/qualifications in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Proven years of experience in electrical supervision within large-scale Data Centre projects.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installation methods, and safety standards.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
