You'll have... 

A Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in computer science, engineering or a related field and 2 years of experience in the position offered or 2 years of experience performing vehicle systems development and software validation. Also requires 2 years of experience using Canalyzer, Vector CAN tools, KOL Logger tools, Diagnostic Engineering Tools (DET), and In-Vehicle Software (IVS) databases; and following Module-Software-Readiness (MSR) and Software Release Management (SRM) processes. 

We are offering a salary of $75,050.64 - $187,906.92/yr.

What you’ll be able to do: 

Electrical Systems Engineer - positions offered by Ford Motor Company (Dearborn, Michigan). Position reports to Dearborn, MI office. Telecommuting permitted in accordance with company policy, but must live within commuting distance of stated office. Perform vehicle level module software validation and signoff for the Electrical Systems Team. Perform end of line validation of module software at assembly plants and Product Development EOL Test facilities. Lead manufacturing “Voice of Customer” test fleet issue resolution and software updates. Perform logical schematics and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) development for specific electrical subsystems. Maintain program and vehicle level software Bill of Materials. Maintain program software SharePoint and automated software re-flash script and sequence files. Support vehicle level prototype builds and breadboard testing, as well as support part orders, delivery concerns, and the testing process. Support coordination of vehicle level software updates at software drop milestones.
