**Job Title: Electrical Technician - Direct Hire** **Job Description** As an Electrical Technician on 1st or 2nd shift, you will perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on all food production plant equipment. You will work on case packers, processing machines, blenders, grinders, scales, conveyors, motors, gearboxes, and more. Your role will span across two different Maintenance Departments (Canning and Packaging), and you will be involved in testing voltages, wiring motors, using a multimeter, and troubleshooting 480V and 3-phase systems. **Responsibilities** + Perform preventive maintenance on food production equipment. + Repair and troubleshoot case packers, processing machines, blenders, grinders, scales, conveyors, motors, and gearboxes. + Work across two maintenance departments: Canning and Packaging. + Test voltages, wire motors, and use a multimeter. + Troubleshoot 480V and 3-phase systems. + Read and interpret schematics. + Work with motor control, fuses, and DC voltage. + Diagnose and identify contactors and megamotors. + Re-Wire **Essential Skills** + 2 years of industrial maintenance experience maintaining food production equipment. + Electrical troubleshooting skills. + Experience with fuses and motors (3-phase). + Ability to read blueprints and schematics. + Proficiency with hand tools and industrial fabrication. + Knowledge of welding, hydraulics, and pneumatics. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Recent graduates or individuals with 1 year of industrial maintenance experience are welcome to apply. + Candidates with 500+ hours of an apprenticeship are preferred. **Shifts** + 1st shift from 6:00am-2:30pm, Monday through Friday + 2nd shift from 3:00pm-11:00pm, Monday through Friday. + Overtime is available **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Beloit, Wisconsin. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $66560.00 - $75000.00 Direct Hire Strong benefits and insurance Will replace your tools if you break them if you bring your own Very stable and growing company - Hormel is a staple.
