About The Position

Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work alongside other trades such as plumbers, carpenters, painter-decorators, and site managers to deliver integrated service outcomes. Support Project and Renovation Works: Contribute to the successful delivery of building renovations and infrastructure upgrade projects from planning through to completion. Adhere to Safety and Compliance Standards: Maintain compliance with workplace health and safety protocols, New Zealand Electrical Code regulations, and BGIS internal standards. Client Relationship Management: Maintain clear, professional communication with both government and private sector clients to build trust and ensure satisfaction.

Skills and Experience

Must hold a valid New Zealand Electrical Registration and Practising Licence to legally perform electrical works. Demonstrated hands-on experience working in residential, commercial, and/or renovation environments, with a strong understanding of relevant electrical practices. A commitment to maintaining high safety standards, following procedures meticulously, and delivering quality outcomes every time. Able to work independently when required, while also collaborating effectively within a wider service team to achieve shared goals. A full, clean New Zealand driver’s licence is required to travel between job sites.

What We Offer

All required tools, safety gear (PPE), a phone, and an iPad are supplied to support efficient and safe work in the field.
