**Seeking an Electronics Assembly and Testing Specialist in Longmont, CO**
**About the Role**
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Electronics Assembly and Testing Specialist to join our innovative team. In this role, you will contribute to the development of advanced electronic systems by providing expert input on work instructions, performing precision assembly, and conducting rigorous testing of analog, digital, and RF hardware. Your expertise will directly support the creation of high-reliability products in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Develop and refine work instructions and procedures for soldering, assembly, and testing of electronic systems.
+ Interpret and apply complex technical schematics to ensure accurate builds and assemblies.
+ Perform advanced soldering and rework, including surface mount assembly of components as small as 0402 under a microscope.
+ Construct and test multi-wire cable harnesses; create Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and perform verification testing.
+ Assemble and test RF electronics hardware, supporting both development and production.
+ Troubleshoot systems using advanced Test Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) such as VNAs, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and oscilloscopes.
+ Support rapid prototyping efforts through integration and testing of electronic components.
**Required Qualifications**
+ 8+ years of hands-on experience with analog, digital, and RF electronic systems.
+ Proficiency in soldering and de-soldering using tools like hot tweezers, hot plates, and reflow ovens.
+ Strong understanding of high-reliability standards and quality management systems.
+ Exceptional manual dexterity and attention to detail, capable of handling components and fasteners as small as #0-80.
+ Experience with RF circuits, antennas, and microwave systems.
+ Familiarity with TMDE and diagnostic tools for troubleshooting and validation.
**Preferred Skills & Certifications**
+ Experience designing RF PCBs and working with Altium Designer.
+ Ability to multitask across soldering, harness building, and system testing.
+ Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to prototype development.
+ IPC Certifications (preferred):
+ IPC J-STD-001 with Space Addendum
+ IPC/WHMA-A-620 (Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies)
+ IPC 7711/7721 CIS (Rework and Repair)

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $52.00/hr.
