Hourly Rate

The hourly rate for this position ranges from $32.69 to $43.75, depending on circumstances including an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors. Job Summary

Assist with all aspects of developing and maintaining the instrumentation, controls and electrical (IC&E) systems at the UGI Energy Services, LLC facilities, including LPG facilities, compressor stations, M&R stations,  LNG facilities, RNG facilities, CNG facilities, etc.

 

Seeking someone that lives in the Ithaca, NY area.

Duties and Responsibilities Incorporates safe behavior into all activities and complies with all established safety and health policies and procedures. Troubleshoot and maintain power equipment including MCCs, VFDs, motor starters, power distribution panels, transformers, etc.  Troubleshoot and maintain instrumentation including required periodic transmitter calibrations at all facilities, including pressure, temperature, position, gas detection, fire detection, etc.   Troubleshoot PLC and HMI issues, including communications, databasing, PLC configuration, debugging, load review, etc. Develop or modify HMI displays and trend displays as needed. Provide I&C technical assistance to other UGIES Operators, Engineers and Technicians. Ability to work overtime and on call-out when needed. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Experience with electrical power equipment like MCCs, VFDs, motor starters, power distribution, etc. Experience with ControlWave Micro, Allen Bradley, Open Enterprise, Factory Talk, RedLion Knowledge of instrumentation and controls, including transmitters, PLCs, HMIs, etc Professional, reliable, self-directing work habits. Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.  Strong mechanical and electrical skills. Good interpersonal and communication skills Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent.  Related technical degree preferred.  5 years or greater Valid driver’s license Preference for candidates with experience in the natural gas industry, cryogenics, gas compression, or similar.

The pay for this position ranges from $57,100.00 to 79,700.00, depending on circumstances including an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation includes eligibility to earn a performance-based bonus or commissions on completed sales.
