Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PLC programming, machine software, and customer support. This role involves working on electrical design in EPLAN and providing remote support to customers, including testing machines online.
ResponsibilitiesProgram PLCs and machine software using CodesysSupport customers remotely, including testing machines onlineDesign electrical systems using EPLANTroubleshoot and diagnose issues using Structured Text, Ladder Logic, and Function Block DiagramWork with TwinCAT (XAE and XAR), EtherCAT, and CodesysUtilize fieldbus protocols and industry standards such as ISO, TwinSAFE, and SICK SafeIntegrate HMI and work with industrial networking and communication protocolsEssential Skills1+ years of experience in PLC programming, troubleshooting, and diagnosticsProficiency in Structured Text, Ladder Logic, and Function Block DiagramExperience with TwinCAT, EtherCAT, and CodesysKnowledge of fieldbus protocols and industry standardsHMI integration experienceFamiliarity with industrial networking and communication protocolsAdditional Skills & QualificationsVisual Basic or Unity experienceExperience in machine automationBachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer EngineeringExposure to electrical drawings/diagramsWork Environment
This position is 100% onsite from Monday to Friday, 7am to 3:30pm. There will be minimal supervision as the other team members are overseas with a 7-hour time difference. This is not a traveling role, and travel is extremely rare. When travel is required, Engineering Field Technicians are usually dispatched. The work environment is collaborative and supportive, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions to our customers.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $45.67/hr.
