This position starts at $38.21 per hour.

Essential Functions:

Install, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on electrical equipment. Manage all electrical safety programs including Lock-Out-Tag-Out (LOTO). Lead infra-red scanning initiatives including scheduling and assisting contractors while onsite. Monitor and troubleshoot all electrical equipment associated with the facility. Maintain plant-wide emergency lighting infrastructure as part of the facility’s emergency response plan. Understand mechanical issues in order to holistically identify and remedy mechanical failures Complete and fill out work orders, preventative maintenance sheets and Safety Observations. Be fully trained in all HP Hood in-house training programs.  Follow all safety standards set forth by State, Federal and Company. Maintain and develop documentation of electrical operating procedures for use in department SOPs and training programs.  Assist in other areas of the maintenance department as a member of the maintenance team. Identify remedy to mechanical failures, notify Maintenance Manager of remedy required, and perform remedy.

General:

Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Execute assigned duties with minimal supervision. Available for required overtime to support business needs and/or critical situations. Perform assigned duties satisfactorily and in a timely manner. Perform assigned duties following "Good Manufacturing Practices.” Maintain a clean & safe work environment. Perform all other related duties as assigned.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years' experience in plant maintenance or equivalent. Electrical certifications and licenses required. Experience with 24v, 120v, 220v, and 480v electrical systems and equipment Experience with control wiring, AC and DC power Ability to read ladder logic and machine/system electrical prints Experience with VFD’s, including installation and parameter settings Ability to read ladder logic and electrical prints PLC troubleshooting, input and output cards, remote I/O and programming Experience with electrical troubleshooting using various meters High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Analytical, mechanical, and computer skills. Knowledge of equipment and buildings. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Must be self-motivated

Ability to lift 50 lbs several times Work off ladders (height) Heat/Cold 125° F to 35° F Wet locations Indoor and outdoor work
