Extensive conference and banqueting facilities are available, including the Badriah ballroom. **About the Job:** An opportunity has arisen for a Technician - Electrical to join Engineering department in Jumeirah Messilah Beach Hotel & Spa Kuwait. Your key responsibilities will include: + Inspect, repair, and maintain all electrical systems and equipment to ensure smooth operations and compliance with hotel standards. + Conduct Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) as per the Fire, Life & Safety (FLS) matrix to ensure safety and compliance of portable equipment. + Complete Work Orders, Preventive Maintenance Programs (PPM), Corrective Work Actions (CWA), and general maintenance tasks as assigned by Team Leaders. + Monitor, maintain, and document Fire, Life & Safety (FLS) systems to ensure proper operation and compliance with regulations. + Read and interpret basic engineering drawings for troubleshooting and repair. + Apply knowledge of electrical circuits, systems, and equipment for effective diagnostics and maintenance. + Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in adherence to safety protocols. + Follow all Engineering Department policies, processes, and procedures to maintain consistency and standards. + Ensure par levels of electrical and kitchen-related items are maintained in the stores. + Perform other duties and tasks as reasonably requested by management. **Qualifications** **About you:** The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications: + A minimum of 2 year experience as an Electrical Technician or similar role in a hospitality environment + Knowledge of Electrical equipment maintenance, repairs and trouble shooting. + Knowledge in various trades like Mechanical, Kitchen, Plumbing, HVAC or equivalent experience would be an added value + Engineering certificate in related fields.
