Job Duties and Qualifications Under general direction, exercises judgment in the assembly of prototype electrical and/or electronic components or systems. Conducts functional and environmental testing of existing and new circuits according to established standards and procedures. May be responsible for prototype PC board assembly and have good electrical and/ or electronic testing and troubleshooting skills. Debugs, tests and documents the test results for electrical and/or electronics equipments. Complies with reliability and safety practices. Comply with Halliburton HSE and Service Quality requirements. Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations. Consequences of error are easily measured and can be confined. Skills are typically acquired through the completion of an Associate&aposs degree in a related field of science and 3 years experience working in a technician role or through 5 years of experience working in a related technician, manufacturing, and/or field operations capacity.
