This is a full-time, hourly position.
Job Summary:
Under general supervision builds, maintains, repairs and installs electrical equipment across a wide range of plant operations.
Essential Job Functions:Participates actively in safety and skills training in pursuit of personal improvementMaintains a thorough knowledge of production processes, equipment and operations in the interest of diagnosing and repairing equipment malfunctionsPerforms preventive and predictive maintenance duties on plant equipmentDiagnoses electrical failures and performs repairs on production and facilities equipment as requiredInstalls new equipment and performs preventative maintenance duties as necessaryPossess general computer use knowledgeMaintains manuals of replacement parts, specifications, blueprints of equipment and maintenance requirements to facilitate repairs, also maintains such files and records in an orderly manner for future referenceDocuments work order time, work performed and parts used by completing time records through use of the Maintenance Management SystemConducts regular inspections of tools, safety and production equipmentDevelops and maintains knowledge of hand and power tools used in the repair and maintenance of plant equipmentGood regular and prompt attendance recordMay perform reasonably similar or related duties as required.Assists in keeping the department in tour ready condition.Prefer a minimum of 3-5 years of Industrial or commercial electrical experience and/or two (2) year degree.Must successfully complete all ADM Safety Certification requirementsBasic knowledge of process equipmentExperience:Good regular and prompt attendance historyExcellent safety record and awarenessPrevious plant/process experienceExperience in any of the following areas is a preferred:Automation/PLCLow/Medium VoltageMechanical480V 3PH wiring, diagnostics, and repairMillwrightPreventative and Predictive MaintenanceMobile Equipment (forklift or manlift)RiggingSpecial Skills:Good organizational and communication skills, and must be self-motivatedAbility to work well with others and with little supervision – (Required)Willingness to assume and learn new responsibilitiesHousekeeping and sanitation skillsWillingness to work overtime when necessaryAttention to detail and accurate record keeping skillsWorking Conditions:Working shifts are 4 days a week for 10 hoursMay be called in to work unusual or extended schedules due to equipment breakdowns or similar circumstancesWorking with numerous types of machines and processesIndoor and outdoorClimbing stairs frequentlyLiftingADM requires the successful completion of a background check.
