Includes performing basic troubleshooting and maintenance work on automation equipment. Also includes performing maintenance, set-up and PM on automation equipment. + Diagnoses, troubleshoots and repair/maintain all equipment and machinery including trim presses, extruders, formers, crystallizers, dryers, conveyors, and grinders. + Modifies new and existing equipment for performance improvements and upgrades. + Completes paperwork accurately and in a timely manner. + Responsible for ensuring housekeeping in area(s) of responsibility are safe, clean and tidy. + Follows all Company established rules and policies. + Adheres to all Safety rules and regulations. + Perform Maintenance Connection day-by-day duties. + Be able to work in all areas of production. **Qualifications:** + HS Diploma or equivalent + 3 + years automation technician experience within the manufacturing industry, or related experience + Must be knowledgeable in electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, blue print reading (mechanical/electrical), welding and fabrication experience a plus + Previous electrical experience with troubleshooting capabilities + Previous mechanical experience with troubleshooting capabilities; Knowledge of PLCs is preferred + Must have own tools and be able to use them safely and effectively + Ability to work with others effectively as a part of a team is essential + Flexibility to work overtime. **Qualifications** **Pactiv Evergreen** is now a part of Novolex. **Novolex** is a leading manufacturer of food, beverage, and specialty packaging that supports multiple industries, including foodservice, restaurant delivery and carryout, food processing, grocery and retail, and industrial sectors.
