**Description** **Tradesmen International** is immediately hiring experienced **Journeyman Electricians** for projects located in the **Wyoming, NY area** . This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is **$26-30/hour** based on experience and skill level.If you are an Electrician eager to master your skills alongside other accomplished Craft Professionals, this is your chance to advance your career! **Job Scope:** + Repair, maintain & install electrical systems and equipment such as motors transformers wiring switches programmable controller and alarm systems + Locate and determine electrical malfunction using test instruments such as ampmeter oscilloscope and test lamp + Repair malfunction by such methods as replacing burnt out elements and fuses + Replace defective wiring, adjust and repair switch contact points and cleaning or rewiring motors using hand tools + Test electrical equipment such as generators and heaters for safety and efficiency; uses standard test equipment + Install fixtures motors and other electrical equipment and makes adjustments using hand tools + Inspect circuits and wiring for specified shielding and grounding and repairs or rewires system according to building codes and safety regulations + Replace bearings in electric motors + Repair mechanical pneumatic hydraulic or electronic components using standard tools and gages + Plan layout and wire new installations + Repair and maintain in accordance with diagrams sketches operation manuals and manufacturers specifications machinery and mechanical equipment such as engines starters pneumatic tools conveyor systems and production machines and equipment + Observe mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate causes of trouble + Dismantle devices to gain access to and remove defective parts + Examine parts to detect imperfections + Inspect used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements + Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments + Repair or replace defective parts + Install special functional and structural parts in device starts devices to test their performance + Lubricate equipment and clean parts + Initiate requisition for parts and machines + Repair electrical equipment + Install machinery and equipment according to layout plane blueprints and other drawings + Read blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures + Dismantle machines + Move machinery and equipment + Assemble and install equipment such as shafting conveyors and tram rails + Constructs foundation for machines + Assemble machines and equipment aligns bolts welds rivets or otherwise fastens them to foundation or other structures + Repair and maintain physical structures of commercial and industrial establishments such as factories and office buildings + Replace defective electrical switches and other fixtures **Company Details** Tradesmen International not only offers consistent work, top pay, and employment opportunities, we also provide a benefits package that is among the best in the industry.
