Weston & Sampson CMR is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to work on various project sites in the Plymouth, MA area. The candidate will troubleshoot, repair, and install various pumps and rotating equipment.
What you’ll do:
Layout, install, and test electrical service and electrical wire systems used at various water and wastewater treatment plants.Repair and perform maintenance on water treatment and wastewater facility equipment.Conduct basic troubleshooting and repairs of pump controls and electrical components.Be an active participant in the installation and construction of new equipment and pump stations.Be prepared to be available to provide 24hr service for emergency repairsProvide customer service in a professional and courteous mannerComplete reports in a timely and complete mannerAbility to bend, thread and install rigid metal conduitWhat you will bring:
High school diploma or equivalent.Must have a Journeyman’s Electricians License Wastewater or water treatment experience preferredSelf-motivated and ability to work independentlyStrong mechanical skills and good communication skillsAbility to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and must be able to climb at ladder, minimum of 15 feet.The ability to meet deadlines, to work cooperatively with others and when necessary, work overtime and weekendsMust be able to drive a minimum of 4 hours a day.Must have or obtain valid Department of Transportation (DOT) Health cardMust have or obtain 10-hour OSHA certificationValid driver’s license with good driving record for travel in New England OverviewWeston & Sampson is an 100% employee-owned, full-service environmental and infrastructure consulting firm made up of more than 800 professionals, who work together to develop innovative, cost-effective solutions for our clients.
