What this job involves - As an Electrician, you will be responsible for ensuring electrical systems and equipment operate safely, efficiently, and in accordance with applicable codes, regulations, and industry standards. Your role will involve installing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading electrical systems and components within our commercial facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks to ensure proper functioning of electrical systems, equipment, and machinery.Troubleshoot electrical faults and identify the root cause of issues to make necessary repairs.Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety regulations and identify potential risks.Maintain accurate records of electrical maintenance activities, including service reports, task lists, and equipment inventories.Collaborate with the facilities management team and other tradespeople to coordinate electrical-related projects and work orders.Follow all safety guidelines and protocols, ensuring a safe work environment for yourself and others.Assist in the development of preventive maintenance programs for electrical systems to minimize downtime and improve reliability.Stay updated on advances in electrical technologies, codes, and regulations to ensure compliance and make recommendations for improvements.Respond promptly to emergency electrical issues outside of regular working hours when required.Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Proven experience as an Electrician, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting.Valid electrical license or certification as required by the state or local jurisdiction.Thorough knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and components, including wiring, circuits, and electrical codes.Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical electrical schematics, diagrams, and blueprints.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve electrical issues.Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and project plans.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members, clients, and contractors.Ability to work independently or as part of a team and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Physical stamina and ability to work in different environments, including confined spaces, heights, and outdoors.Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development programs.

Estimated total compensation for this position:

69,400.00 – 93,600.00 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
