Ingredion is currently recruiting for the position of licensed Electrician. This vacancy is for a 12-hour rotating shift schedule position. The Electrician assumes overall responsibility for performing maintenance functions, including equipment installation and repairs, new construction, service, and preventative maintenance, equipment startup, and testing, renovating and restoring, troubleshooting equipment, etc. (on-call and overtime availability)
As an Electrician, your responsibilities will include:
Plans installations from blueprints, sketches, and specifications and installs all electrical and electronic devices.Systematically diagnose faults in electrical and electronic systems and equipment and repair or replace electrical and electronic components as required.Measures, cuts, threads, bends, assembles, and installs conduits and other electrical conductor racewaysSplices and terminates electrical conductorsTests electrical and electronic equipment for proper functionPerform preventative and corrective maintenance on facilities equipment machinery and electrical components utilizing electrical skill sets.Maintaining and diagnosing low voltage equipment (700V)Maintaining and diagnosing Medium Voltage equipment (4160V)Programing (PLC, Foxboro)Adherence to safety rules and regulations (Arc Flash, High voltage, substation, and MCC safety, LOTO)Repairing/replacement of fixtures, agitators, pumps, motors, and corn-handling equipmentObserve, implement, and test the operation of electrical/electronic devices using best practices for Plant safety and reliability needs.Maintain all specifications and production information in the central database (SAP) by completing work orders on all tasks performed, noting the nature of maintenance, timelines to complete work, and components used.Maintain the work area and physical environment in a neat, clean, and orderly condition (5S).Mentoring new employees on machinery and equipment start-up and best practices during the onboarding schedule.Perform any other duties as required.Qualified candidates will have:
Certificate of Qualification licensed ElectricianIn good standing with the College of Trades1 year of experience in an industrial environment maintaining mechanical/electrical equipment.PLC ProgrammingFoxboro experience is an assetDemonstrated troubleshooting capabilitiesAbility to work with and interpret data and drawingsAbility to adapt to technological changes to structuresAbility to work with varying physical demands, including extreme posture, temperature, and height.Ability to work 12-hour scheduled shifts in a continuous operation facilityAbility to work overtime for work continuation needs and on-call requirementsGood verbal and written communication skillsThe Electrician position is well-suited for you if you:
