**Job Title: Commercial Electrician** **Job Description** We are seeking a qualified Electrician to join our team for construction projects based in Savannah, Georgia. This position is responsible for installing electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, ensuring that work is done in accordance with relevant codes. Work involves technical application of electrical principles. This is all to be done using the appropriate equipment and implementing the required safety practices. **Responsibilities** + Install electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. + Ensure work is done in accordance with relevant codes. + Perform rough-ins and final installs of conduit and MC Cable. + Install electrical panels, lighting fixtures, switches, outlets, and wiring in equipment. + Conduct start-up and energizing procedures of equipment. + Install fire systems. + Provide necessary tools for the job. **Essential Skills** + Experience with commercial electrical work, specifically in hotels. + Ability to perform rough-ins and final installs of conduit and MC Cable. + Experience with installing electrical panels, lighting fixtures, switches, outlets, and wiring in equipment. + Knowledge of start-up and energizing procedures of equipment. + Experience with fire systems. + Must provide necessary tools including knife, pliers/linemen, screwdrivers, nut drivers, keyhole saw, hacksaw, hammer, level, channel locks, needle nose pliers, voltage meter/tester, tool pouch/belt for electrical, diagonal pliers, wrenches/stranded/metric, taps, wire strippers, socket set, tape measure, side cutters, flashlight, cordless drill/impact drill, wrench set, and crescent wrench. + Ability to read blueprints and schematics. + Understanding of electrical codes. + 5+ years of experience or journeyman status. + Experience with troubleshooting, conduit bending, cable repair, electrical wiring, and switchgear. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + All training, education, and certifications will be taken into account during the hiring process. + Must be of journeyman or equivalent status to be considered. **Why Work Here?** This is a contract-to-hire position with the ultimate goal of providing a long-term job opportunity.
