Job DescriptionJob Summary
The Electrician Maintenance performs a variety of electrical trade functions including installation, maintenance, repair of equipment for the generation, distribution, and utilization of electric energy at CMI’s customer site in Shepherdstown, WV.
Key Job Functions
Installing, maintaining or repairing any of a variety of electrical equipment such as portable generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, light fixtures, heating elements, conduit systems, or other transmission equipment;Working from blueprints, drawings, layouts, or other specifications, locating and diagnosing trouble in the electrical system or equipment, working standard computations relating to load requirements of wiring or electrical equipment, and using a variety of electrician's hand tools and measuring and testing instruments.QualificationsHigh School Diploma requiredMinimum 5 years experience in large building electrical maintenance and knowledge of National Electric Code is requiredRequires rounded training and experience usually acquired through a formal apprenticeship or equivalent training and experienceMust possess troubleshooting skills for high, medium, and low voltage electrical systems typically found in large commercial structuresSound ability to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electrical distribution systems, motors, controls, and miscellaneous electrical systemsHVAC (Siemens) controls knowledge is a plus but not requiredMust possess a West Virginia Journeymen’s electrical licenseAdditional InformationBe part of an industry that's more important than ever!Be #1 on day 1 by joining an industry leader.Career advancement opportunities.Whereas other companies are downsizing, we are growing!All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
