**About the Role:**
Join our dynamic team as a Maintenance Electrical Engineer for a leading industrial client in the aluminium manufacturing sector. In this pivotal role, you will leverage your expertise to ensure the optimal performance and reliability of our electrical systems and equipment. Your contributions will be essential in maintaining our high standards of operational efficiency and safety.
**What You’ll Do:**
+ Take charge of the operation, repair, and maintenance of electrical and lighting systems, including the installation of cutting-edge equipment tailored for aluminium manufacturing.
+ Diagnose complex electrical issues and implement solutions by repairing and replacing components such as valves, motors, controls, switches, gauges, wiring, fans, pumps, compressors, condensers, and associated piping.
+ Champion a culture of safety by ensuring all equipment is maintained in accordance with industry standards and best practices.
+ Analyze historical maintenance data to develop proactive inspection, testing, and preventive maintenance schedules that enhance system reliability.
+ Deliver exceptional service to internal stakeholders, fostering collaboration and understanding of their operational needs.
+ Utilize your technical expertise to apply standard principles and advanced procedures, solving routine and complex problems efficiently.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams, sharing your extensive knowledge while also learning from others in related disciplines.

**What You’ll Need:**
+ High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma, with 3-4 years of relevant experience. Completion of a formal apprenticeship program is highly preferred.
· Educated to a minimum of City & Guilds level 3, BTec National Diploma Level 3, IVQ Technician Diploma or equivalent NVQ level 3 qualification
+ A valid Master Electrician license as per local electrical codes is essential, along with a valid driver's license.
+ Strong physical capabilities to meet the demands of the role, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting/carrying loads of 50 lbs or more.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, to facilitate effective reporting and communication.
+ A keen understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve moderately complex problems with confidence.
+ Analytical mindset with the ability to assess potential solutions using technical expertise and sound judgment.
+ Excellent organizational skills combined with an inquisitive and proactive attitude toward continuous learning and improvement.
+ Advanced mathematical skills, including the ability to perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, as well as calculating percentages and other intermediate figures.
