MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

To provide electrical services  and perform maintenance, repairs and replacements on all electrical systems, infrastructure and equipment to locality

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

Perform Technical jobs within Locality 

Perform administration duties within the Technical function

Identify and mitigate Technical risks within the Locality

Coordinate work performed by on-site contractors within the Locality

Maintain client and stakeholder relations within Technical function

REQUIRED EDUCATION

Essential:

NQF Level 4 Electrical qualification with compulsory subjects - Mathematics, Science, or Industrial Electronics, or Electro-Technology or equivalent

Trade Test Certification: Electrical (3-phase)

Wireman's licence (Installation Electrician 3-phase) or equivalent Namibian registration (if applicable)

Code B driver's licence with own reliable transport

 

 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Essential: None

Desired:  More than 2 years' of experience

REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE Electrical regulations and guides Fault finding and troubleshooting Maintenance and repair of electrical systems Alarm Panels, IT Networks &Communication Systems Heating and air conditioning systems Occupational Health and Safety Act Computer literate (Microsoft Office) Transformers and circuit breakers Autoclave Test equipment and devices
