Job Title: Electrician

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00/hr

Job Description

Electricians will be roughing in conduit and wiring new commercial buildings based on plans and prints provided by the General Contractor. These wires are usually terminated at switches, circuit breaker panels, and relays. Commercial electricians wire instruments that control the power, lighting, and heating units in buildings. They also provide wiring for air conditioning and refrigeration units. Electricians will be using power tools, test meters, pipe threaders, and conduit benders.

ResponsibilitiesRough in conduit and wire new commercial buildings based on provided plans and prints.Terminate wires at switches, circuit breaker panels, and relays.Wire instruments that control power, lighting, and heating units in buildings.Provide wiring for air conditioning and refrigeration units.Utilize power tools, test meters, pipe threaders, and conduit benders.Essential SkillsExperience with commercial electrical work, including bending conduit or pipe and running wire.Must be safety-oriented and OSHA certified.Proficiency with saws, drills, utility knives, ohmmeters, testing tools, pulling wire, wiring, bending conduit, and construction.Experience with 480V electrical systems.Additional Skills & QualificationsKnowledge of 227V systems.Experience with rigid conduit, pulling wire, pipe bending, and outlet wiring.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The company will supply hard hats and safety vests. Employees will need to be able to climb up and down ladders all day. Communication is key in this job, and safety is a top priority. You will be working on the 'new construction' side with a supportive and understanding blue-collar electrical contractor, typically in teams of 2-4 people.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
