About the Role
BGIS is seeking a qualified and experienced Electrician to join our team based in South Wharf, Melbourne. In this hands-on role, you will carry out preventative and reactive electrical maintenance, minor installations, and general building services support across client sites. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of building systems, with a strong focus on quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on electrical systems and equipment Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults in a timely and efficient manner Assist with minor electrical installations and upgrades as required Complete and maintain accurate documentation for all work carried out Support general maintenance tasks across other trade disciplines as needed Adhere to all safety procedures, regulations, and company policies

About You

A-Grade Electrical Licence (Victoria) – essential Proven experience in commercial electrical maintenance Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently or as part of a team Excellent communication and customer service skills Valid driver’s licence
