**Job Title: Apprentice Electrician**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a qualified Apprentice Electrician to join our team for construction projects based in Savannah, Georgia. This position is responsible for assisting the lead electrician with installing electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, ensuring that work is done in accordance with relevant codes. Work involves the technical application of electrical principles using appropriate equipment and safety practices.
**Responsibilities**
+ Assist lead electrician with installing electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
+ Ensure all work complies with relevant codes.
+ Perform rough-ins and final installations of conduit and MC Cable.
+ Install electrical panels, lighting fixtures, switches, and outlets.
+ Execute start-up and energizing procedures of equipment.
+ Work on fire systems.
+ Focus on common areas such as main floors, basements, employee work areas, hallways, stairwells, restaurants, and rooftop bars.
+ Provide necessary tools including but not limited to knife, pliers, screwdrivers, nut drivers, saws, hammer, level, voltage meter, and cordless drill.
**Essential Skills**
+ 2+ years of experience with commercial electrical work.
+ Experience with rough-ins and final installations of conduit and MC Cable.
+ Ability to install electrical panels, lighting fixtures, switches, and outlets.
+ Understanding of start-up and energizing procedures of equipment.
+ Knowledge of fire systems.
+ Experience working in various common areas in commercial settings.
+ Ability to provide and use necessary electrical tools.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with commercial electrical work, preferably in hotel settings.
+ Proficiency in running and pulling MC Cable.
+ Understanding of electrical codes.
+ Ability to read blueprints.
+ Proficiency with all electrical tools necessary for the job.
+ Troubleshooting and repair skills.
+ Conduit bending experience.
+ Experience with low and medium voltage electrical work.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $22.00
