**Job Title: Industrial Electrician - GMP** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair high-speed PLC and VFD controlled processes and packaging equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems, PLC troubleshooting, and experience with Siemens equipment. This role requires proactive execution of a 24/7 operation, responding to changing demands with short notice, and ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards. **Responsibilities** + Practice safe working methods as per the Occupational Health and Safety Act, Regulations, and Internal Management Policies to protect personnel and equipment. + Proactively execute the needs of a 24/7 operation while being able to respond to changing demands with short notice. + Maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of high-speed PLC and VFD controlled processes and packaging equipment. + Use and maintain Programmable Logic Controllers, instrumentation, and PC to observe and repair machine functions. + Maintain electrical plant utilities such as lighting and emergency lighting/generators. + Calibrate process control instruments and controllers. + Complete preventive maintenance routines and work orders in a timely manner. + Advise on problem resolution and the procurement of material and equipment for individual jobs. + Assist in project work, equipment modifications, and new installations as required. + Keep equipment file documentation system current and updated. + Ensure the EET Shop is maintained in a neat and orderly fashion. + Communicate clearly with Maintenance, Engineering, and Production personnel. + Ensure all regular and overtime work is recorded daily and submitted to the Maintenance Supervisor on time. + Ensure instrumentation equipment in the shop and personal tools are operational and safe to use. + Ensure departmental and electrical shop logbooks are kept current as per work performed. + Participate in relevant training as required. + Assist new EETs in the process of familiarization with job duties, safety, and equipment operation. + Follow all GMP rules and regulations and quality checks. + Work according to ISO Environment and OHSAS safety requirements. + Ensure compliance with the Quality Management System and quality policy as defined by the 4 Cs. + Perform other duties as required by business needs. **Essential Skills** + 4+ years as a licensed electrician + Valid 309A or 442A license (309A must have industrial experience) + PLC troubleshooting experience + Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams + Experience with electrical conduit bending, wiring, troubleshooting, and repair + Knowledge of electrical systems, including switchgear and pulling wire **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Robotics experience is a plus **Why Work Here?** We offer a clean, GMP-compliant work environment with multiple shifts available, including a day shift, afternoon shift, and night shift.
