Posting Summary Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking an Electrician I for the Division of Institutional Planning & Operations (IP&O). The primary purpose of the Electrician 1 position is to take lead in maintaining primary and secondary electrical systems in the facility.

Among the key duties of this position are the following: Installs, tests, repairs and replaces lights and power circuitry, electrical and electronic equipment, alarm systems and electric motors, machinery and appliances. Ensures work is done in compliance with local, state and national codes. Direct other mechanics and helpers.
