Key Responsibilities:
Installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of facility electrical systems that include primary (high voltage) and secondary circuits, normal and emergency power distribution, UPS, variable frequency drives, and other electrical equipmentAssists engineers in the design, revisions and implementation of various building electrical systems, devices and componentsQualifications:
Two year degree in Electrical Technology or related field is requiredMinimum five years of experience working in an industrial or commercial environment and State of Maine Journeyman Electrician certificationCurrent skill in operating, troubleshooting and programing of PLC based control systems will be highly regarded.Respirator and/or specialized personal protective equipment may be required to access certain confined spacesStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to participate in an on-call rotation that may require work outside of normal business hoursAbility to work as team player with minimal supervisionDemonstrated proficiency using current Windows based computer programs such as Word and ExcelCandidate will be expected to work up to personal ability level in other maintenance trades as necessaryPlease submit a cover letter of interest and resume!
