Install and repair wiring, electrical fixtures, apparatus, and control equipment. Measure, cutting, bending, threading, assembling, and installing electrical conduit. Pull wire through conduit, splicing wires, and connecting wires to lighting fixtures or equipment. Install control and distribution apparatus, connecting power cables to equipment, and installing grounding leads. Test continuity of circuits to insure electrical compatibility and safety of components. Observe installations to detect hazards or items that need adjustment, relocation, or replacement. Plan the layout of electrical systems that show the location of wiring and equipment (or following blueprints that show this information). Will support other maintenance functions. Must support company/region policies.Basic Qualifications:
Must be able to demonstrate capability as an industrial electrician or equivalent formal education. Must be able to work shift work. Must be able to pass criminal background check, drug screen and physical.Preferred Qualifications:
Electrical trades experience in an industrial environment. PLC troubleshooting or programming VFD troubleshooting or programming Motion control (servo, hyd, etc.) Journeyman Card or Electrical Degree
