Essential Responsibilities:

Maintain, repair and complete preventative maintenance on various types of electrical equipmentTroubleshootingReading and interpreting blue printsWiring machines and electrical panels up to 600 voltsPerform other duties as requiredThis role starts at $37/hr.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Massachusetts Journeymen LicenseHigh School Diploma or equivalent education (GED)Ability to work with power tools and meters

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS :

Ability to lift, move and manipulate fixtures and component hardware up to 30 lbs. (with or without reasonable accommodations)Ability to work in confined areas, work off ladders, platforms and heights

Desired Characteristics:

Three years of experience as an electrician working in an industrial environmentWorking knowledge in the installation of large industrial equipmentKnowledge and understanding of safety rules in an industrial settingFamiliar with industrial and Massachusetts regulationsStrong understanding of HVAC controlsAbility to troubleshoot electrical problemsStrong electrical and mechanical abilitiesAbility to use basic tools and machineryAbility to schedule, plan and order materials for jobsExcellent communication skillsAbility to work with customers
