What would you do as our Electrician or Master Electrician?
You will be responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of all electrical systems and equipment within our manufacturing facility. This role requires advanced knowledge of electrical systems, strong leadership abilities, and a commitment to ensuring all work complies with safety standards and regulations.
You would also:
Design, install, and maintain complex electrical systems and machinery. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for electrical systems. Oversee large-scale electrical projects, including new installations and upgrades. Conduct detailed inspections and troubleshooting to identify and resolve electrical issues. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations. Collaborate with maintenance, engineering and production teams on electrical system design and modifications. Maintain detailed records of electrical work, maintenance activities, and compliance documentation. Train and mentor junior electricians and maintenance staff. May initiate and recommend purchases of new capital equipment. Perform other duties and special projects as required. Actively participate in providing a safe and harmonious working environment for all employees. Comply and enforce compliance of all state and federal regulations, Company standards and the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct. The Skills and Experience we’re looking for:
High School Diploma/GED equivalent required. Completion of electrical certification programs would be a plus. Minimum of five (5) years of experience within an industrial or manufacturing environment. Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations. Proven experience in leading and supervising electrical teams. Strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams. Excellent communication, problem-solving and diagnostic skills. Comfortable with and enjoys being a daily presence on the manufacturing floor, actively engaging employees at all levels.
