Whether modifying aircraft to help protect our service members overseas, performing geographical mapping for scientific research, or working to suppresslarge wildfires on the West Coast, we serve with integrity and excellence. **Part-time hours are flexible from 6:00AM to 6:00PM** **Job Purpose:** The Facilities Electrician supports the Facilities department by performing facility electrician work and other maintenance duties as assigned. **Duties:** + Install, maintain, modify and repair all electrical distribution systems and associated electrical equipment + Remain in compliance with current National Electric Code + Inspect and test components of electrical systems, including transformers, transfer switches and switch gears + Complete work orders and record material utilized on jobs + Survey electrical systems, circuits and plans + Study specifications in blueprints, Engineering sketches or building plans to prepare project layout and determine dimensions and materials required + Shape or cut materials to specified measurements, using hand tools, machines or power saws + Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment + Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, or the physical condition of buildings does not deteriorate + Other duties as assigned **Requirements:** + **High School diploma or equivalent required** + **1-3 years of previous electrical experience; electrical license preferred** + **Ability to perform routine maintenance duties utilizing basic hand/powered tools and powered equipment and troubleshoot what kind of maintenance is needed** + **Demonstrable knowledge and skills for electrical installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment** + **Previous experience operating equipment and vehicles with a strong safety-oriented focus** + **Ability to perform basic math calculations** + **Ability to use and effectively navigate ERP program, time clock, and company intranet** + **Proven ability to use manuals to determine equipment operation and maintenance** + **Written and verbal communication skills** + **Manage time to effectively meet company priorities** + **Ability to:** + Ability to balance and carry 50 lbs. up and down a ladder + Ability to work bent over for extended periods of time + Able to climb, balance and work safely at elevated heights + Ability to operate lifts and work at heights of up to 100 feet + Ability to work outside in all weather conditions It is the policy of Dynamic Aviation to prohibit and eliminate discrimination on grounds of race, color, religion, sex, (including pregnancy, childbirth or related medical conditions), sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, ancestry, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or any other characteristics protected by law.
