Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to support the Sales organization and its customers in determining the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions. Each day, you will serve as a key technical resource in the assigned area. You will also showcase your expertise by preparing technical descriptions for the applied products and technology.The work model for the role is: #L-HybridThis role is contributing to the ELECTRIFICATION team and stakeholders.You will be mainly accountable for:•\tProvide pre-sales support for ABB electrical distribution and control products•\tPromote ABB Sales opportunities by providing timely competitor-to-ABB product cross-reference support•\tAssist customers and sales with accurate product selection for the intended application use (form, fit, and function)•\tInteract with Technology (R&D), Supply Chain (factory) and Product Management to provide commercial solutions for customers•\tWork cross functionally with global teams•\tDocument customer cases and actions using case tracking tool, Salesforce•\tAnswer customer phone calls as needed
Qualifications for the role\tBachelor of Science Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or other Engineering or relevant equivalent experience\tMinimum of 2 years with ABB and GE products\tIn depth knowledge of ABB and GE and competitor residential, distribution, and control products, including load centers, transformers, modular metering, industrial breakers, panel boards, motor control, pushbuttons, safety switches, and programming MODBUS\tStrong team orientation and strong interpersonal skills.\tStrong oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate in English with US Customers via the phone and email.\tAbility to work with all levels of the organization.
