Job Title: Electro-Mechanical Assembler
Job Summary: As an Electro-Mechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and troubleshooting electromechanical systems and components. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent attention to detail, and experience with electrical and mechanical assembly techniques.
Responsibilities:Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions to assemble electromechanical systems and components.Assemble mechanical parts, subassemblies, and wiring harnesses according to specifications and quality standards.Install electrical components, such as motors, sensors, switches, and connectors, using hand tools and power tools.Perform soldering and crimping operations to connect wires and cables, ensuring proper insulation and termination.Test assembled units using electrical meters, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic tools to verify functionality and performance.Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with electromechanical assemblies, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.Document assembly processes, test results, and troubleshooting steps in written reports and electronic databases.Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and other team members to resolve technical issues and improve assembly processes.Adhere to safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace.Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of tools, materials, and equipment.
Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training or certification in electromechanical assembly preferred.Previous experience in electromechanical assembly, manufacturing, or related field preferred.Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and soldering equipment.Knowledge of electrical and mechanical assembly techniques, including soldering, crimping, and fastening methods.Familiarity with electrical components, such as motors, sensors, switches, and connectors.Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems with electromechanical systems using diagnostic tools and techniques.Excellent attention to detail and quality orientation to ensure accuracy and precision in assembly work.Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work assignments in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Basic computer skills for data entry, documentation, and communication purposes.
