Job Description
The Electro-Mechanical Assembler will be responsible for the rapid manufacturing of sub-assemblies and finished systems. The day-to-day tasks include assembling cables, harnesses, panels, mechanical assemblies, and large system builds. In addition to assembly, this role involves system troubleshooting and diagnostics. The assembler will work closely with test technicians and engineers to resolve technical issues.
ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot technical issues with varying levels of complexityHave a working knowledge of electrical theory and signal processingRead and interpret work instructions, drawings, schematics, and other production-related documentationSolder wires, PCBAs, and componentsUtilize basic hand tools and power toolsUtilize measuring tools such as multi-meters and continuity checkersProvide assembly feedback and suggest changes or improvementsComplete build records and documentation as requiredConduct quality checks on own work and perform buddy checks on others' workMaintain workspace cleanliness and organization using 5S methodologiesFollow manufacturing guidelines and proceduresAdhere to company regulatory and compliance policiesParticipate in cross-training activitiesEssential SkillsSolderingElectrical knowledgeMechanical skillsCrimpingWiringAdditional Skills & Qualifications2+ years’ experience in a manufacturing or production environmentHigh school diploma or equivalentAverage computer skills for daily tasksAttention to detail and quality consciousnessDrive and ambition to complete work in a timely mannerPersonal sense of integrity, trust, and respectStrong interpersonal skills to maintain a positive culturePay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
