The Opportunity: 

 

Reporting to the Workshop Team Supervisor, the Electro-Mechanical Fitter will be responsible for all the mechanical & electrical fitting / support of new and existing equipment design integrations, including production support activities into the manufacturing environment throughout its life cycle.

Electro-Mechanical Fitter:

Electrical / Mechanical assembly of machines following company standards to ensure machine completion is of a high standardAssisting of testing machines as required, following test procedures Machining of parts as and when required (Mill usage preferred)Completing modifications as necessary and ensuring all documentation is completed on time and to the company standardsAssisting with machine breakdown, packing and installation support as and when required

Engineering qualification essential with Apprenticeship preferredElectro – Mechanical fitting knowledge and experienceSelf-motivated individualGood communication skillsTeam playerPrevious experience in similar role/knowledge of packaging equipment preferred
